After reading, only one thing isn't sitting right with me, and I'd love to hear your thoughts around it: You wrote "I remember the reason I am in the US: America has an outsized influence on the rest of the world, and American policy and lifestyles cause an enormous amount of suffering globally” - but this feels like it runs counter to many of the amazing quotes and insights you embedded within points 1, 2, 3, and especially 8.
Isn't the utilization of American colonially-gained, supremacy "power" only serving to validate and ultimately strengthen that power?
